Dedicated professionals often take on projects that far exceed their role responsibilities, leaving themselves feeling overworked and depleted. In this interactive webinar, Dr. Michele Williams (M.A. '90) will share problem-solving negotiation strategies to help you harness the power of “No” and regain the time and respect you need to focus on your career and maintain a healthy work-life balance. She will also discuss why women find themselves doing more non-promotable extra work than their male counterparts, and what we can do, collectively, to address this issue.

By the end of this session, you will learn how to:

  • Identify negotiation tactics to maintain boundaries
  • Create strategies to regain time and respect from peers and leaders in order to focus on your career, your personal life, and your family
  • Discuss how stereotypes affect these tactics and strategies

Date: Wednesday, October 13
