Ayanna Ferguson is a licensed Social Worker She has held a graduate assistantship for the E. Franklin Frazier Center for Social Work Research at Howard University, conducting research on international social issues affecting the African Diaspora. In addition, Ayanna has also managed policy research on behalf of the Children’s Defense Fund in Washington, D.C. while working to engage congressmen and legislative bodies to promote and strengthen Federal Child Welfare and Education Policy. Ayanna is also a contributing writer for HYCIDE magazine, giving voice through stories of survival and freedom for the feared, neglected, and misunderstood. Ayanna Ferguson currently holds a position with the Counseling and Clinical Psychology Department of TC as the Fieldwork Coordinator, organizing the fieldwork, practicum and externship training of graduate students who are apprenticing as school counselors, mental health counselors and psychologists.

of field education curriculum including course instruction and on site field
