Purchasing Process
To purchase computer equipment:
1. Fill out a TC Purchase Requisition form with an attached copy of the quote(s) you are using (see below)
2. Submit it to the Purchasing Department located in 29A Zankel

No CIS signature is required to process if they are for quotes listed below. Any quotes not listed below will require CIS authorization.
Configuration quotes outside of those listed below can be acquired by emailing the Help Desk at cishelpdesk@tc.columbia.edu
All systems come with a 3 year warranty built into the cost of the unit. This is mandatory for all PC's purchased for TC use.
PC Computers
Specifications: OptiPlex 9010 Desktop, Intel Core i5@ 3.2 GHz, 8GB RAM, 250GB Hard Drive (more detailed specifications listed in quotes below). All prices include shipping. Tax is listed in the quote but will be deducted when the order is placed.
Please note that all new PCs will be loaded with Microsoft Windows 7, Office 2010 and McAfee Antivirus. Any software included with the computer will be replaced with software licensed by TC.
