Getting Connected
If you are a new faculty or staff member and would like to request a network and TC Gmail account, please sign the Access To Information form and submit it to HR to get network and account privileges at TC and Columbia.
Faculty and staff can connect to their TC Gmail account from any location in the world via the Internet and a web browser.
At the time of hiring new faculty and staff are given a UNI to access TC resources.
Activate your UNI
Your UNI consisting of your initials plus an arbitrary number, is the key to accessing computer services and electronic resources at TC and at Columbia University. You need to activate your uni at http://uni.columbia.edu
Log into MyTC
MyTC is your point of access to all the resources at TC. You need to log in with your UNI and your UNI password.
Once you access your portal you will be able to activate your TC gmail. If you need help navigating myTC you can send an email to mytc@tc.columbia.edu
Activate your TC Gmail
TC Gmail is the official means of communication at Teachers College. Follow the instructions on how to activate your Gmail account. Your TG Gmail account comes with a battery of resources like: Google Docs, Google Sites, Google forms so you can create and share documents with other users at TC.

Email sent to any of these addresses goes to their TC Gmail.

Your Courses (FACULTY ONLY)
You will be able to access your courses you can access them in myTC under the Courses Tab. The default course platform at TC is Moodle. To get to know more about Moodle visit our TcApps website
