The Institute for Student Achievement Project (ISA)
ISA's mission is to improve the quality of education for children at risk so that they graduate from high school and are prepared for college, other post secondary education, and the world of work. NCREST is working in close partnership with Dr. Gerry House, ISA president and CEO, to develop, implement, and document a comprehensive high school education intervention that achieves ISA's goals.   More. . .

The National Middle College High School Consortium Early College Initiative (NMCHSC)
The NMCHSC is blending the high school-community college borders to develop a dual degree program that awards students a high school diploma and associates degree in five years. NCREST is documenting the design, development, and operation of the Initiative.    More. . .

Cleveland Schools Excellence Project
This project emerges from the need to identify, describe, and share best practices that exist within Cleveland public, private and charter schools and provide tangible evidence that excellent educational opportunities can be-- and have been-- created within the Cleveland school system.

Urban Advantage Documentation Project
Urban Advantage (UA) is a citywide science education initiative that partners eight renowned science-rich New York City cultural institutions with the New York City Department of Education and public middle schools along with their teachers, students, and families for the purpose of scientific discovery and learning.

In addition to these major projects, NCREST is also involved in a variety of initiatives and collaborations with other organizations including the development of the Say Yes to Education Program in New York City, the establishment of the National Academy for Excellent Teaching and the New Jersey Network of Superintendents (sponsored by the Panasonic and Geraldine R. Dodge Foundations).
