The digital images above reflect all works drawn for this site. Since only one thumbnail was needed for each, if a work was drawn 2 or more times, only one of those drawings is thumbnailed above - the others can be seen by accessing that work or one of the sub-exhibits that include it (see titles or artists lists within Index to all Exhibits below). The works are reflected in the order in which they were created to give some sense to the curious of change and continuity within the entire collection of art represented. Clearly far more works are represented from the 1800's on. Why? Better preservation techniques and interest in preserving art may be partly responsible, but probably more important is the vast increase in human population, the increase in the centers of wealth capable of paying for art and artists, and (with population increase) the increase in the absolute number of people capable of being artists.
