These thumbnail digital images reflect all the drawings of other artists' self portraits that were done for this site, arranged in the order in which the self-portraits were originally created by the artists, begining (top left) with Durer's 1493 etching and ending (bottom right) with Ivan Albright's 1982 charcoal on hardboard. Each is linked to a page exhibiting a larger (typically 6 inch high) version of the image detailed in its thumbnail above, accompanied by some comment on the original work and this site's drawing of it. Typically, though not always, that larger version will share its page with an analogous image of, and comments upon, another work drawn for this site. That other work may not necessarily be a self-portrait, however, and might be related to its page pendant in some other way, (medium, artist, era, and so on).
