Title Index to work drawn, titles beginning S through V

Titles that are the name of the person represented are listed under the first letter of her or his last name. If the title begins "Portrait of..", the title is also listed under P with all the other titles beginning that way. Self-portraits are listed twice , under S, with all self-portraits, and again under the person's last name. Thus a Degas self-portrait is listed under D, and again under S with all self-portraits. Following each title is its artist's name, except in the case of self-portraits. "Port" and "SPort" stand for Portrait and Self-Portrait respectively.
