Walter M. Sindlinger Writing Award
During this academic year Teachers College held its eighth competition for the Walter M. Sindlinger Writing Award. The annual award was established in honor of Walter Sindlinger, a Teachers College faculty member who retired in 1979, by an anonymous donor wishing to recognize the importance of excellent writing in the field of education. Faculty were asked to nominate written works which exemplify excellent writing. The winner receives a $1,000 award.
