All students should fill out the FAFSA forms to see if they are eligible for financial aid from Teachers College. A limited amount of scholarship money is available on a competitive basis to new and continuing students in the Program in Social Studies. In addition, there are many positions available at the College that include some form of tuition remission. Students are encouraged to apply for financial aid, check out information at the Office of Financial Aid (http://www.tc.columbia.edu/financialaid ) to determine whether they are eligible for any of the College-wide scholarship programs, and look into positions posted by the Office of Human Resources (http://www.tc.columbia.edu/administration/hr/) working at the College doing research, assisting professors, or working in College offices that might carry tuition remission.
