    Director's Statement

    The Teachers College, Columbia University Japan Campus office will close for the last time on August 15th. 2013. At that time, our current facilities at Kanda Institute of Foreign Languages will revert to their home institution and telephone and fax contact will no longer be available.

    Teachers College will continue to support those students who need to complete coursework and submit MA Projects in finishing their degrees, as well as graduates who wish to apply for Sensyu Menkyo status. Specific details about the nature of that support will be posted here as they become available. Please look to this site for further information on a regular basis.

    Teachers College alumni are part of a non-dues-paying body, consisting of all persons who hold a degree from the College. There are over 90,000 Teachers College alumni worldwide. As a graduate, you are automatically enrolled in the association, free of charge and you will be eligible for numerous benefits and services.

    A) Update Your Information (do it on-line)

    B) Change your Name The form for this needs to be submitted in person in New York - the Program Director can do this for you, on your behalf.

    As a Teachers College graduate in Japan you are also very welcome to join the Columbia University Alumni Association of Japan, or CUAAJ.
