"The readings of philosophical texts and dialogues with professors and fellow students in or outside the classes provided me with a unique opportunity to place the everyday detail of my work as a teacher on hold and address larger questions of what it means to teach, to learn or to know. My experiences in the Program of Philosophy and Education provoked a greater belief and passion for education and made my work with children more meaningful and more enjoyable."
