Natasha Dragoi, MA '08

Natasha currently teaches English literature and writing in the Chicago Public School system.

"The program in Philosophy and Education at Teachers College fortified me on multiple conscious and subconscious levels.  I learned to explore and begin to inhabit my budding philosophical stance on education which daily manifests not only in my role as a teacher but also in my character as a human being.  The program's forte and notable distinction stems from its incredible combination of relevant philosophical content taught by an intimate staff of ethical and care-full educators and its dedication to the study of the flourishing of human beings through education.  TC's Philosophy and Education program veritably exceeds practicing what it preaches; it organically reflects and cultivates the process of authentic teaching practice.  What a privilege is was participating ever so briefly in its dynamism."
