Event Details: EVENT CANCELLED: Jose-Luis Orozco - Language, History, and Culture through Music

Description: Jose-Luis Orozco is an award-winning Singer/Songwriter, Children's Author, and Bilingual Educator. The Program in Biligual/Bicultural Education is proud to host this interactive workshop, which will demonstrate how to use songs, rhymes, rhythms, and games, in classrooms, on a daily basis, to enhance a child's motor, language acquisition, literacy, social, cognitive, and developmental skills, while promoting cultural diversity and positive self-esteem.

  • 2007 Profiles: Where did they go?

    Beth Pollak is teaching at MS 328 (164th and Amsterdam near Washington Heights). She is the 6th and 7th grade science teacher for dual-language, bilingual, and ESL classes. She's really enjoying every second of teaching and working with the students, and it's a great challenge of course to differentiate the instruction for such a variety of levels and students.
