Music Lessons

Applied music lessons are available on any instrument at any level. Teachers College applied music lessons are offered for two credits only. To sign up for applied music lessons, please fill out our pre-registration form during the regular Teachers College registration period for each semester.

Registration for Applied Lessons during the Spring 2015 semester is now open. In order to register, you must first complete the pre-registration survey before NOON on Feb. 2nd 2015. No late forms will be accepted.

The Applied Lessons Spring 2015 pre-registration survey can be found here:

Using the information you provide on the form, the Music & Music Education program will assign you to an instructor. Your instructor will then phone or email you to set up a lesson day, time and meeting place. Students receive 10 hours of lesson time per semester for 2 credits at Teachers College. Students and their instructor will decide how to divide the time (i.e., how long each lesson will last) and how often you will meet.
