To apply, submit the following information (note that the GREs are not required for any of our programs):

1. the actual application and application fee found online at Online Application
(NOTE- paper applications are no longer accepted and will not be mailed out).

2. a personal statement

3. a current resume or c.v.

4. official transcripts from your university (and from you M.A./M.S. if you are applying to the Ed.M. and Ed.D. degrees)

5. For MA applicants: submit 2 letters of reference
    For Ed.M. and Ed.D. applicants: submit 3 letters of reference

6. For non-native speakers of English: Students need to submit official TOEFL or IELTS scores that are less than 2 years old and meet our minimum scoring requirements:

*With the Paper-based and Computer-based TOEFL tests, student must also have the minimum scores on the TSE and the TWE tests.

**With the ibTOEFL and IELTS tests, students must meet the minimum scoring criteria IN EACH SECTION in addition to the overall minimum score.

Requirements for who must take the TOEFL or IELTS:

Our policy is that all non-native English speakers who did NOT go to junior high school, high school, and university consecutively at an English-medium school in an English-speaking country MUST take the TOEFL or IELTS. These test scores must (a) meet our minimum scoring above and (b) be less than two years old.

7. For Ed.M. and Ed.D. applicants ONLY: a writing sample that demonstrates your English academic writing ability and your potential to do research.
