This Master of Arts degree is designed to offer advanced academic experiences relating to professional needs and expectations in art and art education. The MA degree offers graduate level courses combining work in pedagogy and instruction, research, studio, and contemporary studies in art education. The Program is designed to allow some flexibility in course selection so that candidates may build upon prior academic work and teaching experiences. The degree may be completed in three summers with some off-campus work; however, courses may also be taken during the school year thus reducing the overall time commitment.
