Event Details: NYSAFLT 2014 Summer Institute

Description: New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers, Inc. (NYSAFLT) presents its 2014 Summer Institute: "Delving Deeper into Highly Effective LOTE Instruction"

Conference attendees will receive a NYSAFLT certificate of attendance at the conclusion of the
conference. The total number of hours that can be earned each day is noted on the conference
schedule, but credit will be awarded only for workshops attended by the participant. Hours will be determined by totaling the time a participant is in attendance. It is attendees’ responsibility to verify in advance with their home district whether the NYSAFLT certificate of attendance will be accepted. Participants may attend up to 30 hours if attending the full institute.

  • 2007 Profiles: Where did they go?

    Beth Pollak is teaching at MS 328 (164th and Amsterdam near Washington Heights). She is the 6th and 7th grade science teacher for dual-language, bilingual, and ESL classes. She's really enjoying every second of teaching and working with the students, and it's a great challenge of course to differentiate the instruction for such a variety of levels and students.
