Alumni Resources & Information

Dear Alumni,

Since 2011, Arts Administration at Teachers College has made it a top priority to develop a democratic and creative educational environment as a means toward continually enhancing the values of and experience in our world-renowned program. The voice of our vast alumni community is essential to the success of this endeavor. The Program encourages you to keep in touch and update your profile information as your career and life achievements progress.

In the Fall of 2014, the Program shared the news that the first ever ARAD Alumni Committee had been formed to enhance our alumni community, and to support the ARAD Program and current students. However, the ARAD Alumni Committee is only as good and relevant as the input we get from YOU -- an ARAD alum. Please fill out this survey with your updated information!

ARAD Faculty is very excited to work with the Alumni Committee on various projects, one of which is to keep alumni knowledgeable about current events with the Program. Click here to read a letter written for the alumni network providing Program news for the upcoming 2015-2016 year.

Watch members of the Alumni Committee talk about their experiences on a panel for the TC Academic Festival here:

ARAD of 2015:

The foundations of the ARAD Program are as strong as ever: our field-responsive curriculum is taught by leading academics and practitioners, and our student body consistently proves itself to be of the highest caliber. Under the leadership of Program Coordinator Dr. Steven Dubin, and with the added expertise of Associate Professor Dr. Jennifer Lena, new programming opportunities for students have been springing to fruition. These new endeavors range from professional development workshops to a Distinguished Speaker Series. Furthermore, the Program has established strong interoffice relationships at Teachers College, Columbia University, and the surrounding arts community. By revitalizing coursework, connecting via social media platforms, creating dynamic extracurricular programming, and designing a cutting-edge new website, we are actively building upon the tenets of the program while engaging and influencing beyond the classroom.
