Welcome to the M.A. Program
Welcome to the Psychology in Education M.A. Program in the Department of Clinical Psychology at Teachers College! We invite you to learn more about our innovative Masters curriculum which has been designed to meet the diverse backgrounds of our incoming students. We believe every student has a unique contribution to realize within the field of psychology. This belief is reflected in the overall mission of the program which is to help students clarify their professional goals by providing them with relevant coursework, rigorous research, clinical fieldwork, and in-depth academic advisement.
This graduate level degree is ideal for students who wish to strengthen their applications to Ph.D. programs, to complement their expertise in other fields with clinical principals, or to learn how to best employ their education in psychology locally and globally. Graduates of this program have gone on to effectively ameliorate mental suffering in their communities through research or practice.
