The Web Quest is a method for teachers to plan and develop student projects
that use the World Wide Web. It has been gaining in popularity as teachers see
the need for structuring their students' use of the Web. This workshop covers
the elements of creating a Web Quest and using it in school curriculum. It begins
with an examination of how teachers focus on essential questions for learning
and how the Web can be used for problem solving. Then it gives participants
the opportunity to evaluate existing Web Quests and to go through all the steps
involved in creating their own.
