Dietetic Internship Program (DI)
The Dietetic Internship Program (DI) provides students with a minimum of 1200 hours of supervised practice. A student cannot begin the DI until (1) the series of courses, referred to as the DPD, have been successfully completed and (2) at least a bachelor's degree has been completed. Graduates of the DI are eligible to take the registration examination that is administered by The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). The Teachers College Dietetic Internship Program is offered on a full-time basis and requires eleven months to complete. Up to 24 interns are admitted to the Teachers College DI each year. Applications are due by the mid-February national deadline for a September start date.
