Program: Ph.D. program in Applied Anthropology (began 2006)
B.A. in Anthropology from Boston University (2004)
Research Interests: Broad interests in the arts and arts education as an area for applied research; Post-conflict re-development, divided cities, public space, and prison art programs. Plans to pursue further research in Northern Ireland.
Geographical Interests: Ireland, Germany.
Fieldwork: Political murals in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and examined new arts policy intended to mediate the painting process. The project focused simultaneously on the background and operations of this policy, as well as a few key painters and their murals.
