Inaugurating the Global Studio Project: (Led by Former VP Al Gore)

The first formal use of the Global Studio Project's connectivity at Teachers College took place on November 18, 2008. The equipment and connection in CCTE was used to facilitate participation in a symposium with former United States Vice President and Nobel Laureate Al Gore. Mr. Gore was speaking to an audience at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan (see photo 1), while linked in real time with others at Teachers College.
