B.A. in Spanish and International Business, Washington University; M.S. in Teaching, Pace University. Upon graduation from Washington University in 2003, Brandon was selected from a competitive pool of applicants to join Teach For America (TFA). TFA placed Brandon in P.S. 42 Claremont Community School as a 5th grade teacher of technology and special education. He continues to work at P.S. 42 as Director of Student Achievement Data and Operations. In this role he creates student systems and structures for collecting reading, writing and math data, analyzes trends in student achievement, conducts staff development sessions and writes the Empowerment School plan.
Brandon is now the Dean of Instruction at Brooklyn Ascend Charter School.
