B.S. Biology and Society, Cornell University, M.S. Secondary Education, Loyola Marymount University. Ari began his teaching career as a TFA corps member in a seventh grade biology classroom at Carver Middle School. He took a leadership role as a founding faculty for the California Academy for Liberas Studies, a new charter middle school in Northeast Los Angeles. Currently he works for Citizens’ Committee for Children, a 60-year-old multi-issue advocacy organization where he is Coordinator of YouthAction NYC. While a Coro Fellow he worked with peers and community leaders to identify, better understand and address locally relevant social issues.
Ari is now a Data Specialist at Vanguard High School, NY.
