B.A. in Communication Arts, Marymount Manhattan College; M.A. in Childhood Education, City College of New York. After attaining his bachelor’s degree in 2000, Anwar began building a career in marketing and promotions, having worked in various entertainment companies. Soon, he decided to apply to the New York City Teaching Fellows Program and was selected to teach elementary education in the south Bronx. Presently, Anwar works as a 1st grade teacher at P.S. 179, The School of International Cultures.
Anwar is now a Technology Teacher at PS 197, Bronx, New York.
