B.A in English and American Literature with a minor in Sociology from New York University; M.S.Ed. for Teachers from Pace University. Eric began his career in education five years ago in Brooklyn, NY as an English teacher at a small public high school where he still teaches today. Eric was also a member of the New York City Teaching Fellows. Currently, Eric is the lead English teacher at Freedom Academy High School in Brooklyn, NY and aspires to lead a secondary school that is grounded in the principle of teaching literacy across the curriculum and which also affords students various opportunities to practice being well-rounded, insightful and responsible members of any community they belong to.
