B.A. in Psychology & Criminology from Miami University; M.S.Ed. in Urban Education from Mercy College. Victoria began her career in education in Bronx, NY as a member of the New York City Teaching Fellows. She taught special education English Language Arts and Integrated Algebra for her first two years. Currently, Victoria teaches Biology, Geometry and AP Psychology at South Bronx Preparatory in Bronx, NY. She also leads a program for teachers targeted towards increasing student achievement using action research projects and formative assessment. In addition, Victoria oversees high school special education and is a leader in the learning community at her school. Victoria aspires to be a school leader in the Bronx and use her experience at the classroom level to further develop her capacity as an effective leader.
