Undergraduate degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs along with a certificate in American Studies from Princeton University. As a Teach for America corps member in New Orleans, Kit was a founding teacher at Arthur Ashe Charter School, a K-8 transformation school that is a part of the FirstLine Schools network of open admission charter schools. During his first year, Kit taught social studies to grades 4-7, propelling his students to the highest test scores at Ashe, which made the greatest academic gains on statewide tests in New Orleans during the 2008-2009 academic year. In the winter of 2009, Kit became the Middle School Team Leader. He is also a member of TFA's Community Outreach Team for the Greater New Orleans region and a Learning Team Leader, providing instructional support to first-year TFA teachers.
