Julie Soussis

B.A. in Economics, New York University; Masters in International Affairs, Columbia University; Master in Education, Queens College (CUNY); Ed.M. Teachers College, Summer Principals Academy. Julie began her career in education as a New York City Teaching Fellow. She was recently appointed as an Assistant Principal at PS 35Q, an elementary school in Queens. Julie has implemented a process for using school assessment data to improve student achievement. She has trained teachers on how to utilize assessment data in identifying strengths and gaps in student learning. Julie is looking forward to her return to SPA and to be a member of the Instructional Team.
