Francoise Wittenburg
B.S. Human Services Studies, Cornell University; M.A. in Special Education, University of Phoenix, Maui Campus. Before moving to her current position at Fox Lane High School, Francoise was a Special Education Humanities teacher at Hoboken Charter School. There she served in consultancy roles as the After School Reading Program Coordinator, the Child Study Team Facilitator and Special Education Consultant. She has also worked in Laihaina, HI as an Intensive Learning Program Teacher and Special Education Resource Teacher. She was the Special Education Department Chairperson, Grade Level Chairperson, and the Functional Behavioral Assessment Specialist and Testing Coordinator. Beyond the classroom, Francoise trained educators in identifying educational needs of at-risk students, compliance monitoring, and currently leads a Character Education Workshop: “It’s All About the Eggs” at Hoboken Charter School in collaboration with the New Jersey Charter School Resource Center. Francoise holds a certificate in French Language and Civilization from La Sorbonne, University of Paris.
