Leroy Gaines

A.B. in Africana Studies, minor in English, Bowdoin College. Leroy’s experience in schools extends beyond the classroom at his current school, Ryan Elementary School in San Jose, CA. In addition to assuming administrative responsibilities when his principal was out, he taught both 3rd and 5th graders in self-contained bilingual classrooms as a Teach For America Corp member. Leroy works in various capacities developing after school programs, mentoring high school students, and coaching middle school students in basketball.
