B.S. in Economics, Spelman College; M.A. in Math Education, Brooklyn College. Upon graduation from Spelman College, Prudence set out to achieve her long standing goal of becoming a principal by applying to, being selected for and enrolling in the New York City Teaching Fellows Program. Like all Fellows, she was positioned in high needs school in a disadvantaged community. For the past two years she has used her background in economics to inform her instruction as an 8th grade math educator at Mary McLeod Bethune Academy.
