B.A. in Political Science and Journalism, Rutgers College; M.S. in Elementary Education, City College. As an undergraduate student at Rutgers College, Bridget had the opportunity to begin her teaching career as a course instructor for two weekly courses, one in American Politics as well as a Pre-Law Advisory class. After graduating with High Honors, she went on to join the New York City Teaching Fellows program as a 6th, 7th and 8th grade Literacy instructor at I.S. 187 in Washington Heights. Since joining the faculty of I.S. 187 in 2002, Bridget has gone on to become a Teacher Leader as well as the Literacy Department Co-Chair.
