B.A. in Sociology, University of Chicago; M.A. in Teaching, Lewis and Clark College. Studying Sociology with an emphasis in Education during college, Sunny continued her investigation of social issues and pedagogy through her affiliation with the Alfred. P. Sloan Center for adolescents with the National Opinion Research Center (NORC). Her education and experience easily lent itself to a career in the teaching profession. Prior to working at King/Robinson Interdistrict Magnet School in Connecticuit, Sunny held a position as a Second Grade Teacher at McKinley Elementary School where she also worked as an After-School Administrator and a Critical Friends Coach.
