Matthew Stern

B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology; M.A. in Mathematics Education, City College of New York. In addition to being a high school math teacher through the New York City Teaching Fellows program, Matthew is also a Yoga Consultant at Columbia University and the Rivertown Yoga Center. Prior to working as an educator at Repertory Company High School, he was the executive director at Northern Lights Alternatives, a non-profit social service agency providing empowerment training and support to people with HIV/AIDS. Matthew is also an accomplished classical violinist.
