B.A. in History, Rutgers College ; Ed. M. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Allison comes to Teachers College with extensive leadership experience; while still a student of the 5-year early childhood elementary education masters program at Rutgers University, where she was the recipient of an Urban Teacher's Scholarship, Allison was also selected to initiate a research violence prevention program called Second Step. At her current school—H&M Potter Elementary—she has been a mentor teacher and founded the Teacher-to-Teacher, a newly formed program that aims to assist non-tenured colleagues.
