B.A. in Psychology, Boston University; M.S. in Education, St. John’s University. Having emigrated from South Korea at the age of seven, Seung Mi Oh began her American education as a student of the New York City Department of Education. She went on to graduate from the Bronx School of Science before earning her undergraduate degree from Boston University. After college, Seung decided to return to the New York City public school system—this time as a teacher. She recently finished a two-year commitment as a math teacher with the New York City Teaching Fellows program and is currently working as a Lead Teaching Fellow, providing guidance and support for first-year Teaching Fellows.
