Ben Helfat

B.A. in Political Science, Kenyon College; M.Ed. in Special Education, Long Island University. Benjamin is working to provide urban students with better resources and educational opportunities through his work as a special education teacher at Brooklyn Academy High School. He has also been a reading teacher at Summerbridge Riverdale where he was promoted to the Reading Teacher Chair position.
