B.S. in Biology, Hofstra University; M.A. in Biology Education, New York University. Paul comes to the Summer Principals Academy with more than a decade of teaching experience. During his tenure as a biology and general science teacher at New York’s Satellite Academy High School, he has worn many hats—from softball coach and athletic director to new teacher mentor and technology coordinator. Under Paul’s leadership as the school’s admissions director, Satellite Academy has taken on a number of initiatives that have translated into increased enrollment and parental involvement in the admissions program. Over the years Paul has pursued numerous unique professional development opportunities abroad; he studied HIV/AIDS education in South Africa, Cuban history in Havana and global climate change in Costa Rica. As a veteran member of The Science Institute, Paul develops and implements hands-on science activities for the American Museum of Natural History and the New York Botanical Gardens.
Paul is now an Assistant Principal at the Sattlelite Academy, High School in New York City.
