Scott Painter

B.S. in Chemical Engineering, University of Texas at Austin; M.S. Ed. (candidate), Clark Atlanta University. Scott began his career in education working in South Atlanta High School (SAHS) in 2000 as a Teach For America Corps member. While at SAHS, he has initiated an AP Physics course, created a tutoring program partnership with the Black Graduate Student Association at The Georgia Institute of Technology and won grants to start an annual water rocket competition for his school. In 2003, Scott was named Atlanta Public Schools High School Teacher of the Year.
