"
The Philosophy and Education program at Teachers College is a genuine community of scholars enriched by a diversity of perspectives on educational theory and practice. Working as a part of this community, both inside and outside the classroom, has been crucial to my development as a thinker and a teacher. My professors and fellow students have created an atmosphere of intense interest and engaged debate within the tradition of philosophical thought on education. I look forward to working with them -- and arguing with them -- for many years to come."
