Program Alumni

The Philosophy and Education Program at Teachers College, Columbia University has had a long and esteemed history.  Although students in the program have come from diverse educational backgrounds, they all go on to contibute to academia, education and the discipline of philosophy in varied and significant ways.  

Of particular note is:

  • the international reach of our alumni, with professors in Japan, Korea and Israel for example.
  • the presence of our alumni in innovative teacher education programs
  • the presence of our alumni in liberal arts colleges
