biographical information
A. Jordan Wright, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and full-time faculty member in Clinical Psychology, specializing in psychological testing and assessment. He is also currently the Director of Mental Health for The HOPE Program (www.thehopeprogram.org), a work readiness program in Brooklyn that assists adults with significant barriers to independent living (poverty, homelessness, previous incarceration, drug history, or mental illness) to transition back to self-sufficiency. He is certified in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy by the New York Milton H. Erikson Society for Psychotherapy and Hypnosis (NYSEPH: www.nyseph.org), with whom he serves as a board and faculty member. Having worked in hospital and school settings, Jordan has also specialized in group and family therapy.
