Workshops and Training
Academic Computing Services offers a variety of technology workshops for students, staff, faculty and alumni as an excellent way to broaden your software knowledge horizons. Our workshops are held in the computer labs and they are ALL hands-on. They vary from single 2 hour sessions to multiple days of 2 hour each for a max total of 6 hours.
Schedule and Registration
Consult our workshop schedule. Please sign in using using your UNI and UNI password and register for the workshops as far in advance as possible. Classrooms have limited capacity, so be sure to sign up early to reserve your place. There is also a minimum of 4 necessary to hold a workshop. We only accept cash or checks.
To further support TC students, staff, faculty, Academic Computing Services offers workshops tailored to the needs of faculty course curriculum, student organizations, and other groups. There is no better way to approach a project than to have ACS customize a workshop that teaches you how to efficiently and effectively use the required software.
Workshops by appointment
To accommodate your busy schedule, Academic Computing Services offers the workshops “by appointment.” You just need to find at least 4 people who are interested in the same workshop and we will be happy to make an appointment for you.
