OISS Job and Intern Opportunities

The Office of International Student Services has occasional openings for part-time employment and/or internship opportunities. The following is a brief description of our positions.  If any positions become available, we will advertise availability through the Office of Human Resources and appropriate departments.

• Graduate Assistant. The OISS Graduate Assistant works 20 hours per week assisting the Director and Assistant Director with office management, reception, program development, and immigration advising. Because the Graduate Assistant position involves immigration-related duties and responsibilities, U.S. citizenship or permanent residence is required. This position is especially ideal for students interested in pursuing further professional opportunities in the field of immigration, international student advising, and international education.
  
• Orientation Interns. Orientation interns work during Summer B to plan and carry out the Fall orientation program, including the Welcome Desk for New Students (August); New International Student Orientation (late August through early September); and Ongoing Orientation (for post-arrival events and workshops held throughout September and October). The OISS welcomes applications from interested TC international students for these positions. Availability of internships with the OISS is announced through our Weekly Update listserv, usually in late April or early May.
