We hope this Web site will make
it easier for faculty, staff, affiliated Teachers College
organizations,
and other classroom space users to navigate their way through
the Room Assignments "process."

This
is How We Work
Rooms for classes and Teachers College
workshops are assigned approximately one month before the start
of the semester. They are requested through the departmental "RAPO"
sheets. (RAPOs, or "Room Assignment Print Outs" are a green bar
report sent out from the Registrar's Office to each of the academic
programs. They list all the courses, and allow faculty and departmental
staff the opportunity to proof course day, time, and title.) We
assign rooms according to class size, and special needs. After
all the courses and Teachers College events have been assigned
rooms for a semester, and all the particularities have been worked
out, we then work on the Room Requests. Room requests are processed
on a "first come - first serve" basis.
