We ensure that all TC students are in compliance with New York State's immunization laws. We manage the enrollment process for both of the Health Service Program and the Columbia Student Medical Insurance Plans. Lastly, we provide general information and administrative support for both of these services.
The Graduate Writing Center (GWC) is a professional development consultancy for academic writing, which employs experienced scholarly writers and teachers of writing from a variety of disciplines. The GWC offers one-on-one consultations in scholarly writing for native and non-native speakers of English in all stages of the writing process.

The New Student Experience Orientation Program is one of several orientation events coordinated by the Office of Student Activities and Programs designed to complement the new student experience. Orientation programs take place in the fall and spring semesters for all new students. For a complete schedule of events for orientation, please refer to our website: www.tc.edu/nse.
For a nominal fee, students, staff, and community members can rent out a locker to store their books and belongings. Locker rentals are good for an 11-month period from September through the end of July. Students that are requesting a locker for only a semester may do so on a pro-rated basis. OSAP supplies the locks and distributes the combination to the student upon payment.

Saturday January 9th
Fly from Miami to Havana
Sunday January 10th
Arrive in Havana early in the morning. Walking tour of Old Havana
Hammel’s Alley for community Rumba and Salvador Gonzalez art gallery
Late lunch at Fuster’s (Cuban ceramics artist of international acclaim)
Monday January 11th
Meet with Cuban National Assembly Member for a lecture on Cuban politics, economics and U.S. relations
Visit Chocolate´s art studio (internationally recognized Afro Cuban artist)
Evening film review with Gloria Reylando (award winning Afro Cuban film maker)
Tuesday January 12th
Tour Cuban National Art Museum
Visit The Project of Ninos y Ninas (grassroots community project for children)
Visit the Museum of the Revolution
Wednesday January13th
Early drive to Las Terrazas (sustainable, eco-friendly community)
Tour former slave coffee plantation
Visit The Latin American Medical School
Evening of live, private Cuban jazz performance with Pablo Menendez
Thursday January 14th
Drive to Santa Clara to visit the Che Mausoleum and area of Cuban Revolutionary battles. Drive to the city of Trinidad.
Friday January 15th
In Trinidad visit the Trinidad School of Art
Visit former slave holding region and slave plantation
Visit a Policlinic and talk to medical doctors about the Cuban healthcare system.
Enjoy evening of live music at Casa de la Musica
Saturday January 16th
Drive back to Havana and go to the Havana craft market
Visit Sabado de Rumba for community cultural performance
Sunday January 17th
Free day in Havana
Monday January 18th
Fly back to Miami to connecting flights

Cost and Payment Plan:
$2,800.00USD Installment Plan: Pay over time from April 15, 2009- November 15, 2009. Costs include R/T airfare from Miami to Havana, hotel accommodations, breakfast, all scheduled lectures/ museum/ tour entry fees, in-country transportation and bi-lingual guide.
Requirements:
Acceptance for travel on this graduate/educators research tour is dependent upon:
1. Proof of current graduate student status at an accredited university before and during the time of travel
2. Approval of graduate students/educators research plan while in Cuba
3. Current U.S. passport
4. Signed travel agreements
5. Deposit to secure your space ($300 non-refundable, counts towards total cost)
