Event Details: Study Day: The Civil War and the Body

Description: Engage in close looking at works in the galleries as well as discussions and short lectures in the classroom as you explore the trauma of war and its effects on the mind and body through multiple perspectives, including art historical, medical, and disability studies. This program is held in conjunction with the exhibitions "Photography and the American Civil War" and "The Civil War and American Art." The fee to attend this event is $25, which includes lunch and Museum admission. This program is made possible by The Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Horowitz Foundation for the Arts.
